After taking a leisurely drive to Sacramento, California from her home state of Nevada, Bearpowered athlete Kayla Sanchez put on an awesome show.

Kayla ran in the girls 200 meters proving the best in a winning time of 24.23. Sanchez also sailed over 17 feet in the long jump. Not satisfied with those numbers, Kayla took third in the Women's 100 meters with a time of 11.97 seconds.

All this was a warm-up for Kayla's cruise to a crushing victory in the Invitational 300 meters with a time of 42.98 seconds. Kayla simply outclassed the second-place finisher's time of 44.42 seconds!

Kayla Sanchez is 115 pound 2.5x deadlifter (295 pounds) and is in her junior year. We're expecting a phenomenal finish to this year's track season as well as even more powerful performances next year!

BTW, give dad Louie a big congrats for the work he's done with his budding superstar daughter!
